With Your Consent

What You Can Do to Your Information

Deleting Your Account

You can delete Your account by emailing customer support at care@2ndaddress.com. Please write the following in the subject heading: “Privacy Policy Inquiry”. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if you have outstanding rental or payment related obligations you cannot cancel your Service account.

Limitations on Deletion

In the event of an account deletion - We will delete Your private information (although it may be retained on backup servers for administrative and technical purposes only). Information and content You submitted publicly, or to a limited audience, may be retained by Us indefinitely - and We may continue to publish and use it as allowed hereunder. Even if We delete information – We may continue to retain and use it in an anonymized (meaning data that does not specifically identify You).

Laws and Regulations

We may also retain your Information to the extent required to comply with (or we deem it reasonable in light of) any laws or regulations.

Opting-Out of Our Emails

If you don’t want to receive marketing email communications from us such as offers, updated and newsletters – you may simply opt-out of receiving such communications by following the instructions included in each such email (usually a link near the bottom of the email). You must be willing to accept emails with respect to Service notifications (such as to confirm rental bookings).

The Location of Your Information

While your Information is in our possession, it will be stored at hosting facilities located in the USA. These facilities are either operated by 2nd Address or our third party providers. By using the Service you are consenting to have your Information stored, transferred and processed in the USA.

The Security of Your Information

2nd Address takes reasonable precautions to protect your Information and to limit the risk that it will be accessed without authorization, including use of certain industry standard technologies and practices.

If we learn of a security systems breach, then we may attempt to notify you via email or by a posting on your Service account page - so that You can take appropriate protective steps. By using the Service you consent to receive such notice by electronic means (provided that such consent is void where prohibited by applicable law).
